Fashion Inspo x

Hello, everybody, hope you all are well. Things are looking slightly more positive for me, I have had my first vaccine. I am feeling more hopeful about the future and the ability for me to be able to actually go out and not just have to remain inside my home 24/7.

Today is going to be another fashion post! I am starting to declutter my wardrobe and only keep pieces I love, meaning I am not hoarding clothes I do not need. This way I can wear all the clothes I have and experiment with my style and a variety of looks. I love matching pieces together!

Top- A New Look one that unfortunately they do not sell anymore.

Trousers- The classic flares that seem to be appearing a lot in my fashion posts, I cannot seem to find them on Missguided but they of course are available elsewhere.

Styling the look:

As always I recommended using places like Depop, second hand sites and Instagram shops, to find similar items to the ones I show. Unfortunately, I cannot link these sites as often they are a one piece, and once one person purchases the item, it is gone. Therefore I show popular brands because of this.

These coats are what I envision with the look. I actually own the coat on the left but also feel a longer coat would match the vibe and it is perfect for the colder weather. Although, we have had a taste of Spring recently. The colour of the longer coat is also another way to match the hints of the golden/brown embroidery that is on the top.

Boots! This is the perfect boots outfit. Even though I am so excited for Spring to come, one thing I will miss and have been missing during lockdown is wearing and styling my boots! I love them. I thought I might as well squeeze them in on my fashion post as depending on how warm the weather gets, I may not be able to rock them until the end of the year again. Sad times :(

I love the idea of mix-matching jewellery and I am a massive fan of funky earrings. I feel they can just spice up an outfit, especially if you were to wear your hair up, it will really extenuate your earrings; making them more of a focus, than if they were hidden by your hair.

I am leaning towards the idea of gold jewellery with this look. I think it would really compliment the outfit and just adds a simple and classy touch. At the same time and quite the opposite, I also love the idea of cool funky chunky rings, they bring a focus to certain parts of the look and can be worn in a way to match coloured aspects of the clothing. In this case, red to match the blouse.

I like the idea of dainty chained necklaces. The gold one gives more of a toned down classic look, but the red choker, I feel would give the outfit a pop of colour.

Accessories

I love the idea of a fluffy bag to match the outfit, it gives off winter vibes and I just think they are a really cute feature of an outfit. A bag to me, really completes the look and lets be honest, we all need a bag when we are heading out (not so much at the moment lol... but we can think forward to the future and places where we can rock the fluffy bag!)

Another day, another fashion post. I do wonder sometimes if doing these is a negative thing as I just want to go on a massive shopping spree!! Lol help me, I am not very good at resisting.

As always I hope you enjoyed todays post! I am hoping to bring back another food one next week so look forward to that. Stay safe, Lucy xoxoxo
