Hello everyone!! I noticed that I used quite a few exclamation marks in my last post which made me chuckle... I seem to be very expressive when writing. Just a quick note to say that some of the links on the pictures of the mobile version haven't formatted properly, so there are big gaps in between a couple of the them. I will try and fix that for my next post but make sure you keep scrolling!
As always I'm giving my own views on fashion, and I always urge you to shop on places like Depop and other second hand shops for your clothes first, before heading over to the big brands :) Many of the clothes I recommend can most likely be found on these sites. One my sister uses and I also plan to use, is White Rose Fashion. It is one of the best sites we have found that sell vintage clothes. If you only do this a few times when you shop, you are then supporting the smaller businesses and you are not contributing as much to fast fashion.
The clothes I am wearing for this look are: a jumper from Fila, but it is no longer being sold and I myself brought it off Depop. I am sure you may be able to find it on there or on Instagram etc. The flares are from Misguided and they are the Petite Ribbed Flares.
Being 5ft 2, I have found finding flares quite difficult and never really felt confident in buying them as I knew they would be too big/long. It is especially hard in these times with having to order online, but for me this was the perfect time to give them a go. I was shopping on Misguided and did a search for flares, and to my surprise I came across ones that were petite, and were recommended to those who were under 5ft 3! Perfect for me, so I urge you to get them if you are looking for a pair and you are very short; they fit so well and are so comfortable. I also struggle because my waist is very small but again these fit perfectly. For reference I brought two sizes just in case, which is another thing I would recommended if the return is free, and the size 6 is the one I kept.
These are some of the items of clothing I would pair with my jumper and flares. If anything takes your fancy, you can just click on the image and it will take you straight to the website.
I changed to including images as I feel a visible aid is better when being shown clothes, it makes it easier to see it before deciding if it is something you would like to purchase to add to your wardrobe. I wish I was able to buy all of these beautiful items but at the moment I am on my own spending ban due to buying so much throughout this lockdown... I told myself it was retail therapy, but in reality it is just me buying things that I do not need.
As always, I hope I provided you with a bit of fashion inspo! Lucy xoxoxoxo
