Hello, Everyone! The sun came out so I took the opportunity to have a outdoor shoot with my sister. We chose a Spring makeup look, including yellows and blues to reflect the bright colours of the false spring we have been given. We know it won't last long!
I am hoping to do more shoots when the Summer rolls around, as our garden is always full of colour so is the perfect location; no need to travel anywhere which suits our current predicament.
Another good thing about preparing and doing a photoshoot, is that it is very time consuming and therefore takes up most of the day. For me that is a positive as I am not just sitting around on my phone feeling unmotivated and bored. I really do enjoy the whole process from planning the shoot, to the end where I look at the photos and edit them. The only disadvantage is I now have a collection of photos on my phone and I am one of those people that is not a fan of storing too many pictures!
I am not sure if I have mentioned this before, but the camera I use is the Canon 1300d but soon I hope to progress to a better one. For the shots I have chosen to show you, I used the lens that came with the camera. The editing software I use for most of the photos is VSCO Cam which I have on my phone.
Also, I have finally managed to find the instruction booklet to one of my lenses which now gives me the opportunity to explore more settings with it. Hopefully helping me to improve my photography and allowing me to capture different types/styles of images.
